Residential Youth Support Worker (Children’s Home)
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £19,850 - £21,836 per annum (dependent on training and experience), New starters with QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare start on £21,372!
Overtime opportunities available, plus £33.00 per sleep in completed
The Right Candidate
The successful applicant will act as a corporate parent to the children we care for, helping them thrive in their day to day lives. Duties include; school runs, activities such as shopping or taking them to swimming lessons, cooking and providing these young people with a warm and nurturing home environment.
We are looking for individuals who:
· Have the passion and drive to improve the lives of children
· Desire and are willing to learn and develop new skills
· Are resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times
· Are a great role model
A full UK Driving Licence is preferred to support with school runs and activities.
Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.
Please note successful applicants with a QCF Level 3 will enter the business at a higher salary. No QCF Level 3? No Problem! Homes2Inspire will cover the cost of QCF training for all of our current employees.
