Prioritising Education

Homes2Inspire have three dedicated Education Engagement Coordinators who are the link between the home, the local authority and the school. They advise on admissions, attend statutory meetings to advocate for our young people and provide career's advice across all homes.

Delivering Qualifications
As a registered Youth Awards Provider, we encourage all our young people to complete the Asdan Accredited Youth Achievement Awards. The awards range from Bronze to Platinum which upon completion, the young person will be credited UCAS points.
Assessing Development
We use the Boxall Profile to track the progress of cognitive development and behavioural traits of our young people. We work with local authorities and schools to identify and implement strategies for development and how we can best support them.

Job Role: Residential Youth Support Worker

Salary: £19,050- £20,621 per annum plus £33 per sleep in completed **

** Successful candidates with QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare will start on salary of £20,091 in 5 bed home**

Annual Leave allowance: 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays

Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

About the role

As part of this role you will be responsible for supporting and developing these children and young people emotionally and socially. Your role will be as a corporate parent to these children and young people, you will be involved in school runs, activities like taking them out to the shops or swimming lessons and also cooking dinners and providing these children and young people with a warm and nurturing home environment.

Previous experience within this field would be advantageous, however this is not essential. We welcome applicants that we feel have the right characteristics, aptitude, and life skills to work with our young people.


Shifts and Hours

As a residential provision this is a 52 week/24-hour service. You will be required to work a shift pattern which includes early and late shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays.


You will also be required to sleep in, this will be on average of once per week. An additional allowance is paid for this!


You will be required to undergo a Disclosure Barring Service enhanced application which will be funded by the organisation.
