Kimber House

Kimber House opened in 2001 and is located in the Carrington area of Nottingham and provides comfortable accommodation for up to three young people, both male and female. The home is situated in a quiet residential area approximately one mile from the City Centre. There are excellent links to the City’s transportation system. Including buses, trams and the national rail network. The home is positioned in the catchment area of Elliot Durham School, Haywood Comprehensive, Haddon Park High School, Djanogly City Academy and Margaret Glenn Bott School.

Management Profile

The home is managed by Nicol Orme. Nicol has over nine years’ experience working with children and young people. Nicol originally worked in early years settings before moving into residential care in 2012. During her career Nicol has gained the following qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, Childcare and Education – preschool practice, QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care – Children and Young People and is currently completing her QCF 5 Management. Nicol is committed to working with children and young people promoting positive outcomes for their future.
