We are always thinking about our children and young people at Homes2Inspire. At Meadowview and Farrimond House, our wonderful management team Julie and Sarah have been working the team at ‘AMEY’ on a Christmas Appeal.
Last year, the home teams participated in a Christmas present appeal with Dunelm, raising money to fulfil wish lists for local children in need. The initiative involved children writing their gift wishes on tags, which were then placed on a Christmas tree in Dunelm stores. The wonderful staff at Dunelm stores and depots raised funds to purchase these gifts, bringing joy to many young people during the festive season.
This year, they offered to extend a similar opportunity to the children and young people in the Worksop area, under the care of Homes2Inspire. The team were eager to work with us and our home teams, to create a meaningful Christmas experience for our children and young people.
The generosity went further than just gifts for the Worksop homes, as they were able to cover the entirety of the Homes2Inspire Nottinghamshire County Cluster!
The children and young people created their wish-lists which were shared with the AMEY team. The home teams have now collected their Children’s wish-list gifts, all in time for Christmas!
