Since my last message the situation in the Country has worsened and new measures have been put in place by the Government to restrict the spread of this virus and protect the NHS, I am sure everybody is full of gratitude and admiration for the work of the NHS at this time.
Our staff and those in other children’s homes and social care settings are Essential Key workers who continue to work with some of the most complex and vulnerable children and young people.
Within Homes2Inspire and I am sure across the sector as a whole staff members are doing an amazing job supporting each other and those they look after going way beyond what would normally be expected, they cannot be praised enough for all their efforts. Our Senior Leadership Team and the wider Shaw Trust Group are working tirelessly each day to ensure we maintain our services, reduce the burden on our Managers and Staff and make necessary amendments in conjunction with Local Authorities to deliver our services at this time.
Throughout this period, we are continuing to recruit staff to ensure that we can maintain our services but also to be resilient enough to cope as we do not know when this situation will be brought under control.
Thank you again to everybody in H2I for doing such a fantastic job and more widely to all essential key workers within the country who are working so hard to support our essential services and help those most in need.
