John is a qualified and registered social worker and has worked with children and families for the last 44 years. For most of that time he managed fostering services either within local authorities or within the private sector. John is passionate about foster care and believes that if we support our foster carers well, we are able to provide safe, secure and loving foster homes for the children we look after. Good quality foster care really does make a life-long difference to children and young people.
