Our Culture

Homes2Inspire Logo

Our children and young people are at the forefront of everything we do!

We treat each child and young person as an individual. The care they receive is adapted to ensure they develop and thrive.

When we ask our staff why they work at Homes2Inspire, the answer is always the same – our children and young people.

Our teams are committed to providing the best support, guidance and care. They work as a team to create nurturing environments and support each other through challenging days. Our teams are proud of what they do.

We continue to support our young people once they turn 18. As well as providing a ‘stay close’ package for those moving on, we also have two semi-independent provisions where young people are provided support and shown life skills to ensure they are ready for the life-changing transition into independent living.

At Homes2Inspire, we recognise that our staff are our biggest strength. We know that it is important for us to invest in their training, development and progression. Our excellent team of Managers continually develop their staff and support them to access progression opportunities.

At Homes2Inspire, as part of the Shaw Trust group, our people are our greatest strength and the custodians of our culture who deliver quality programmes and services. We are committed to encouraging a fully diverse and representative workforce at all levels of our organisation. We are committed to the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment for all colleagues, regardless of sex, race, religion or belief, age, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy, maternity, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or disability. We welcome the new legislation on gender pay reporting to try to address the gender pay gap we have in society and to encourage equality for all.
